Searchable.com was named to the Corporate Advisory Board of the California State Commanders Veterans Council. Searchable.com’s integrated platform will enable the estimated seven million members represented by the California State Commanders Veterans Council (CSCVC) to discover and connect with peers and veteran services in exciting new ways.
“Searchable.com is honored to receive this distinguished appointment to the CSCVC’s Corporate Advisory Board, and look forward to delivering the many benefits our platform will provide the veteran community,” said Managing Director Lauren Straus.
The CSCVC, composed of more than 20 veteran and military service organizations, serves as the official voice of California veterans by promoting their rights, benefits, and opportunities. Searchable.com’s geolocation-based technology will facilitate interactions among veterans with service organizations, medical resources, career opportunities, and businesses.
“We are thrilled to have Searchable.com join our Advisory Board,” said Chairman of the Council Greg Lee. “Greater public-private sector cooperation is needed to create real solutions to many of the issues veterans face today.”
The members of the CSCVC officially accepted Searchable’s nomination to the Corporate Advisory Board at its quarterly meeting on July 24, 2018 in Rancho Cordova, California. At the meeting, Searchable.com formally introduced itself as the newest member of the board and presented attendees with an overview of the services it will offer free of charge to the veteran community.
