Searchable.com continues developing its commitment and relationship with the greater veteran community as a key sponsor to the 11th Annual California State Assembly ‘Veterans of the Year Luncheon.’
“We are honored to sponsor an event dedicated to the people that have sacrificed so much for our country,” said Founder and CEO Frank Rice. “Searchable.com is devoted to the success of a platform that we believe will benefit the millions of veterans and their families.”
Since partnering with the non-profit organization Vet Matchmaking, Searchable.com developed a unique version within its platform for veterans, service members and their families. The application enables them to connect, communicate and share information and offers specifically for the veteran community. The Searchable.com platform facilitates geo-targeted communication both publicly and privately between veterans and their relevant service groups regarding housing, lending, education, medical and other veteran-specific associations.
The luncheon, which occurred at the Sacramento Convention Center on June 20, recognized 80 veterans from across California. Each year, the state Assembly members nominate candidates from their districts, and gather to acknowledge those veterans who had distinguished military careers and have significantly contributed to the community in the time since serving.
