THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., Mar. 2016, Deep Rock Ventures, Inc. – Searchable.com announced today that the Company was granted U.S. Patent No. 9,288,617, which includes 50 claims directed to certain aspects of Searchable.com’s technology. Back in December of last year, the U.S. Patent Office had issued a first action notice of allowance of all 50 claims that the Company filed in late 2014. The claims describe the features of the Company’s Technologically Intuitive Targeted Ad Network (the “T.I.T.A.N. Engine”) and the networking of the mobile and desktop devices with the T.I.T.A.N. Engine and its various server components. Today, the U.S. Patent Office granted all 50 of those claims.
The abstract for this invention is as follows:
A computer implemented method and system that enables mobile and desktop devices to automatically communicate with websites of brick and mortar businesses, which are relevant to a category of interest and proximate to their current or a prospective geographic location. The system and method further enables generation of well-formed websites, media, and multimedia, and to concurrently and automatically demographically and geographically distribute and push the websites and media to nearby and prospectively interested mobile and desktop devices with relevancy-amplified, geo-targeted media and multimedia communications, which media are selected by real-time machine-learned, high-probability consumer interest weighting and relevancy functions that are continuously updated in response to monitored consumer actions. The system further enables geographically regional and inter-regional systems management of these geo-targeting capabilities to enable automated, local to worldwide replication and prospective advance market regional and demographic testing of the geo-targeted and relevant distributively pushed media communications.
According to Intellectual Property Attorney Sean Casey, “This patent gives the Company protected access to a significant and rapidly growing market and has the potential to be very disruptive to the market overall.” In addition to U.S. Patent No. 9,288,617, the Company has other patents pending as it continues to develop its patent portfolio in the mobile communication and geo-targeted ad space.
